Do you remember the Ball family?

Crooked House c. 1976
photo
An ex-Gornal Aussie expat is hoping to contact old friends after our Crooked House football team article jogged his memory.

Phillip Ball emigrated in 1980 and tells us:

"It was great to see these faces and remember those times. My brother Tony Ball played with some of these players at a later time in 75/76. I have lost touch with the folks back home and would love to get in touch with anyone from Lower Gornal who remembers me."

Phil is the youngest brother of Tony and Trevor and Michael Ball formerly of Malvern View, Lower Gornal. Full of praise for the Gornal Athletic team who have just won the League, he wonders if any of our readers have further photos of Gornal football teams whose players he may recognise.

You can email Phil direct or contact Yampy if you have any information or images you'd like to share with us and the fifty or so countries that visited us last month alone.
