Headteacher John Crichton told the Dudley News that he was absolutely delighted, saying that at the very least this would give campaigners twelve months to prepare a business plan in case the same issue arises next year. Mr. Crichton praised the publicity that had kept the politicians on their toes, a fact confirmed by Dudley North MP Ross Cranston, who told us: 'I am delighted that the Council leadership has now seen sense - though only after many constituents protested.
