JONES (Michael Frank), South Oval?
Arthur Nicholls is trying to find a school friend and work colleague he last saw in the mid 1950's. He writes:
I have been referred to Yampy in my efforts to trace a long lost school friend, because for some time now I have being trying to remake contact with an exact contemporary of mine at Dudley Grammar School; a Michael (Mike) Frank Jones from South Oval, Upper Gornal.
We were there together from 1948 to 1953 when we both went to work for Birmingham Corporation, he in Weights & Measures, I in the Town Clerk's Office. We then began our National Service at the same time but at that point lost contact.
