News & Goings On Newsfile Sport History Family Roots Find Old Friends Fun & Laughs Poetry 26/4/2005 STRUGGLING MAN info wanted We know that it actually lies just outside Yampyland, but can any of our readers help Phil Moran with his research into The Struggling Man pub in Salop Street (by the new Tesco Metro). Phil's great-great-Grandfather Samuel Naylor (father of John Naylor) ran the inn with his wife Esther(nee Marsh) from about 1860 to 1890. Any information would be gratefully received, especially old photos of the building, interior, or regulars. Phil would particularly love to hear from anyone with a family connection.
