Martin Wakelam (now there's a good old Gornal surname!) is looking for help to find out more about the history of this shop, which was in the location later occupied during the 1980's by 'Rogers Video'. Martin's great grandad Tom Wakelam ran The Pork Shop before the war, and later handed over to Martin's grandparents Bill Wakelam (William) and Eva Wakelam.
